If the Shoe Fits

Jenny went for her second interview as a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal at a respected & well established law firm in Brighton this afternoon. She met with one of the managing partners in a one-on-one meeting & did herself very proud. She was the image of coolness in the morning & only admitted some nerves moments before her brief encounter. However, that didn't stop her. She did good.

She got the job!

We're thrilled with her achievement & super excited for this next chapter in her legal career. She was uber happy, so much so, that it drove her to shoot immediately back into work to drop the bombshell & tell them the good news - they were very good about it. She was always destined for bigger & better.

And now relax.

We had our lovely & 'chatty' (Louise's word, NOT mine!.. although it might be slightly true) friend Louise from the South West joining us this evening, stopping over on her way to Heathrow, to jet set to LA & Las Vegas for the week to join her husband Steve who's awaiting her arrival. (For those that might remember, Louise & Steve were last seen here on a very special day.) As much as Louise's week out in the States will be wonderful & relaxing, & a holiday she is dearly looking forward to taking, it was clearly her evening with us that will be the highlight. Bolognaise, watching A Knight's Tale whilst actually catching up, & wine.. what more could you want!?
