Must Be Thursday: Lunch with Mom and Dad

Every Thursday we have taken to having lunch together. All of those years when we were all working and too busy to sit down and talk. Now, I take the gift of time and give it to myself as well to my parents as we sit and eat a simple meal together. Mom often tells tales of her childhood. She can remember the distant past but not so much the recent past as her memory fades. Dad get's weaker by the day. Each Thursday is a gift that I cherish. It must be Thursday. I had lunch with Mom and Dad.
