Evening Light in my back garden

How nice it is to come home and find the grass cut by my husband who aims to please. How sweet it is to have the time to trim all of the edges and make it that much more tidy.
How beautiful, the shade garden here in front, the lilac bushes to my left and the whole back yard ringed with flower beds just waiting to burst forth in flowers and a riot of colors come June, July and August.
I love the march of time as each day a new flower blooms in its own prescribed time.
I love the unexpected babies found in random spots.
Today the columbine are all out in bloom, Sam's yellow iris, blue bachelor buttons, white and pink bleeding hearts, purple violets and emerald green ferns everywhere!
