Down the slide

Enough bright dry weather to visit Alice Park this morning. The girls had a great time on the slide.
They both like coming down on their tummies but Eda favours head first and Jude feet first. I believe they were the same on the water slides yesterday. They both had fun but didn’t manage to come down together.

After about half an hour they asked to go to the cafe. Great, a warming coffee was exactly what was needed though the girls of course had ice pops. It became very windy and started to rain. Eda was looking for a rainbow, I was more concerned about the flapping canvas roof!

We gave up then and returned home for an afternoon of Disney. Not as bad now but another bout of very wet and wild weather this afternoon like we had on our journey to Bristol last night. We’re so used to coming down here and the weather being good, eating lots of our meals outside, I think this time we’ve made a mistake wearing Spring clothes instead of hanging on to our winter ones. 

We’re looking after the girls as Grace has rehearsals for a production she is in at the Edinburgh Fringe in the summer. Hoping for a better day tomorrow as we just have Jude and it would be nice to go out somewhere.
