Frosty

The day dawned clear and frosty, I had a really lovely walk around the golf course and forest before breakfast. After a fantastic filling breakfast, the boys and dads went to play golf. I walked around the first few holes, then the girls and mums went for a walk around Castle Douglas. There are some great little shops and galleries there.
We all met back at the hotel, then most of us went to the Bladnoch distillery for a tour. It was really good, very interesting guide, and we had our own private tour.
Dinner was great, but it was a bit quieter than it’s been in recent years. 2 other large family groups weren’t there this time.
