The King and I

We went on the train with the choir to the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford. A lovely day out. First we went to the theatre restaurant for lunch - though I wasn’t impressed with the vegan option I chose. Jackfruit Wellington- it was more like a Greggs pastie but not as tasty. It came with a ramekin of rice and no veg! The pudding was nice though Lemon Blueberry cake with lemon sorbet.
The production was amazing and the leading lady was Helen George aka Trixie from Call the Midwife.

For the first time we asked the boys next door if they would let Bella out for us. It went well and she must have enjoyed herself in their garden as she got us up twice in the night. 2am and 4 am. She didn’t need a wee. The second time I let her out she grabbed her big fluffy monkey and ran to their gate.
