A Local Walking His Dogs

An early start as also on my bucket list was to photograph sunrise and sunset over the ocean…so as the hotel was also on the Caribbean coast, I thought this was an ideal opportunity. It was a slightly disappointing light wise but the arrival last minute of a local walking his dogs made it!

Today we travelled…90 mins on the boat, 2 hours on the bus to meet another bus for another 2.5 hour journey to La Fortuna, at the foot of the Arenal Volcano. It was quite dramatic driving through the fields of pineapple and cassava to see the volcano looming in the distance.
