Wally and a Wagon Wheel

After getting up this morning in Clinton, Tennessee, I make Lisa drive through the Museum of Appalachia. They usually have quite a few farm animals out, and sometimes you can see (and hear) the peacocks. Wally was quite far away, but I think he posed nicely.

We headed for home at about 8:30 a.m. with 540 miles to go, and pulled into the driveway at 6:30 p.m. Along the way were 2 side-trips to Buc-ee's (a giant gas station/convenience store) and the Kentucky Artisans Center.

Since we've been home, we've seen 2 of our 3 kids and both grandsons. It is now 11 p.m., and I'm going to retire. We unloaded the van, but will sort it all out tomorrow.
