Fuzzy fun

Slept really badly last night so made up for it by having a productive day to tire me out. I've bottled wine, set beer off to brew, hoovered, done some washing, tidied the living room and helped with fuzzy "health checks".

The ferrets were needing their ears and teeth cleaned so I got the job of scruffing them and stopping them squirming too much. They really don't like it but unfortunately every couple of months its essential. I took this photo when they were both sleeping following their ordeal. It did mean however that they were lovely and sedate when it came time for my flatmate to say goodbye to them before leaving for America.

We then decided to get all the nasty things out of the way in one day and do their claws, bath and flea drop them as well. Scuzz isn't too bad when he gets bathed, he doesn't mind water so tends to go a bit floppy and spaced out while being shampoo'd, he only objects when water has to go on his head. Weasley on the other hand doesn't like water and therefore doesn't like to be bathed. He was a lot better than last time though, he only clawed his way up on to a shoulder once and this time we were prepared with thick long-sleeved tops.
