Art

After a few days enjoying art galleries in Belgium, today I met a friend at the Manchester City Art Gallery, to see the Raqib Shaw exhibition. The most interesting aspect of that was the hanging, close together, of two paintings - George Stubbs "Cheetah and Stag with Two Indians" painted in c. 1765 and Shaw's version painted (or perhaps "made" as it contained enamel and sequins) this year.

But for a blip I liked this view from a room, across an atrium to another two rooms.
