Pond colour

Lots of new growth in and around the pond at the moment - marsh marigold, waterlilies, yellow flag iris, purple loosestrife, meadowsweet, daisies/chamomile and poached egg plant. Mostly greens and yellows for now, and these vivid colours are just gorgeous!

I try not to think of summer and droughts. Wet weather is just wonderful for pondlife and unfortunately Oxford is a very dry place.
