SLATE STEPS

The staircase to the attic is lined with slabs of slate. I am told that this detail is unique and the only example found in our village.
I am not sure that it is a good thing to have an attic as it is a temptation to collect your junk instead of passing it on to others. I can see that we have a task ahead of us, but tomorrow is another day! So I guess we will just keep putting it off.
