Mary Quant

When I heard that Mary Quant had died I said to Jacqui ‘Have you still got anything by Mary Quant?”. I know she hangs on to favourite things. From her bottom drawer she produced some of Mary’s iconic tights. Mary didn’t invent them but popularised and pioneered  them to go with her shorter hemlines. These tights have never been worn. They weren’t bought in a normal shop but at an antiques fair in the 1980s. They symbolise the Swinging 60s and very happy and exciting times as far as we are concerned. Thank you Mary.
