Direction Of Travel

Today's image was taken on another local photographic safari. I've noticed this direction bollard on literally hundreds of occasions when I've been taking my brother up to the station in the morning. I was drawn to it by its wonderfully crackled surface and the adjacent railings which have been bent out of shape after being hit by a passing vehicle at some point. Today's sunlight helped to create the distorted shadows you can see in my image. The guy or gal all in black on the motorbike looks pretty cool too. Mind you I had to be quick getting this shot before the traffic lights changed!
