Good Timing.

Whilst Alan, the kitchen fitter, was here V had time on her hands as she had to stay out of the kitchen and it was too cold to work outside..

So she turned her attention to the bedroom and had a good sort-out there. She threw a lot of stuff away but then discovered one of her late husband's wrist watches.

It is a Sekonda and was purchased in 1988 (the receipt was in the box). It is clockwork and was one of the last manufactured in what was then the USSR. I have ascertained that modern Sekonda watches sold in the UK are manufactured in Asia and have no connection with the old Russian ones.
