What happens in Eyemouth stays in Eyemouth…

Or maybe not! :-))

Slept well (unusual for me on my first night in a strange bed) and we were up and at ‘em by 10am.

Delicious continental breakfast laid out in the dining room for us to help ourselves. Fresh fruit, nutty granola, toast with lemon curd and coffee hit the mark.

Man with the bouncy castle arrived. It was up in no time and the kids were in. Easter egg hunt was also organised. LeeAnne really has thought of everything for her guests, of all ages! (Tarot reader came later but I chickened out!)

Poor withers was struck down by a migraine, something she’s afflicted with on a regular basis. Too much excitement (not the booze as she’s teetotal) She waved Paula off with us and we pootled 10 mins up the road to St Abbs.

Such a beautiful day and we enjoyed a wander around. Harry Styles filmed his Adore You video here (outside and in a friend’s cottage for the indoor shots) so I had fun noting all the locations from the video. Paula and David were no use as neither of them have seen the video!

Sat in the sunshine in the little cafe by the harbour to enjoy tea and cake. Paula particularly enjoyed her crispie cake :-)

Back to Netherbyres for a wonderful grazing lunch of all manner of delicious things, then sat in the bar chatting till it was time to go to our rooms to get glammed up for this evening’s shenanigans - the official party celebration of LeeAnne’s 50th.

What a brilliant night. We have laughed ourselves hoarse! And the margaritas were to die for!! And the freshly baked pizzas from the pizza man! And the company was amazing!

What a weekend. And it’s not over yet!!! :-)))
