End of an era

Spent the afternoon at Taste of Edinburgh in Inverleith park with my friends today and once we were booted out at 4pm we decided to continue the afternoon with a wee carry out from the offy. On the way to the offy we passed my old high school which is currently being demolished and replaced with a far swankier building which is off to the left (out of the picture). Seeing my old school and spending the afternoon in the park brought back loads of memories. The top floor housed my favourite department (Art) and the Art dept staff room which myself and a couple of friends where allowed to use (so we could boil the kettle for our herbal teas). The 1st and 2nd floor housed the science departments and the ground floor housed my 2nd favourite place, the Techie drawing / woodwork departments. It was sad seeing the building like this but I was chuffed I managed to pap it while it was still remotely recognisable as I'm not sure when I'll get another chance to head down there and blip it properly.

Aaaahh...good times.
