Italian National Trust

This is the greatest treasure of the FAI, the Italian organisation inspired by our National Trust. The Villa Balbianello.

It was my third visit, and I’ve blipped it each time. Stunning colours, immaculate planning, design and care. It is truly unique.

It was used in the old film “Casino Royale” and again in “Star Wars Two”, just in case it looks familiar.
