It’s been a while...

...since I last did a jigsaw puzzle. Combe Martin was to Mum what West Bay is to me. It’s where she spent many very happy childhood Summer holidays visiting her gran and other relatives, and where she learned to swim, Combe Martin being where her mother was born and grew up.

I gave Mum the jigsaw for her birthday last year. In the Summer we sat in the garden together and sorted the edge pieces but she never got to complete the puzzle. Last weekend, a year to the day after I gave it to Mum, I started the puzzle. And today I fitted the last piece.
