Restful Sunday

I have had a rest day today. I got up at 7.30am and am heading to my bed just before Midnight.

I have lay on my bed and listened to music all day, texting and talking to friends. 

I’m feeling much better respiratory wise, I think the chest infection is finally easing off after three weeks of constant coughing. I’m feeling very grateful about that tonight but the chest infection the Covid and my usual chronic ill health conditions have absolutely drained me. 

Today has been a good day though. Plenty rest, light meals and catch ups with good friends.

I decided I would not feel guilty about the housework that needs done that hasn’t been today. There is always tomorrow. The laundry will be my first job.

Today’s Blip is of a Morrisby Profile I found in a bunch of old papers I was looking through this evening. It’s from when I was sixteen/seventeen in the late 90s - I am forty one now. It’s still pretty accurate but I have changed a lot in some aspects.

Thanks for all the kindness and well wishes over the past three weeks re my Covid/asthma/chest infection. It has been absolute hell with an extended fibromyalgia flare up on top but I’m feeling very fortunate to have this wonderfully supportive community in my life. I think it’s better than therapy! 

I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. I will play catch up with stars, hearts and comments over the next couple of days. I have a busy week ahead. I will pace myself as much as possible and hope for the best :) xx
