Salt Pans
We were up early this morning to witness the dawn over the salt pans near Trapani. This was apparently an important centre in Europe for the production of salt which was used for preserving food. You can read more about it here.
It was fun to take time composing pictures with the camera on a tripod. This is a style of photography that I do rather less these days, but should perhaps return to.
This is back blipped because the intensity of our activities over several days allowed no time for editing and posting images and then I had no internet access for a couple of days.
