The Longest Pier

I arrived at my destination late this afternoon - sadly too late to go on the longest pleasure pier in the world. My trip down was by train via Doncaster then across London to make the connection to Southend-on- Sea on the East Coast. I’ve worked out when and where from the bus departs for the first leg of my bus pass adventure - just a couple of hundred meters from my accommodation. I’ll be aiming for the West Coast by the end of the week.
