The Importance of the Journey

Sometimes the journey is as important as the destination. On this note, had a long but enjoyable drive to Cardigan Bay. Was particularly enjoyable to drive through the Welsh valleys with the windows down and singing along to the music at a respectable volume.

After checking into the cottage, had lunch in Cardigan itself and then a nice stroll along the virtually empty beach at Poppit Sands. This was followed with a walk along the coastal path and then a bit of a sit on the cliff edge as the sun went down. Early to bed with the hope of being early to rise.
