A new mug!

A gift from neighbours who have just returned from a family visit to NY.  I think the mug says it all.  :-)

I had a few hours on the allotment in the afternoon and spend all the time sieving the contents of the larger compost bin and  building a new heap with the uncomposted remains, the scarified grass, used coffee grounds from our local supermarket and wood ash from the log burner at home.  Hoping it works better this year as I'm watering every layer!!

The extra is Taz eating outside after his second bum wash of the day - so not looking his best. Neither of us were very happy by the end of the second session, but between us, he is now clean enough to avoid a visit to the vets for another Brazilian and to be allowed in the kitchen overnight.
