The perfect seat

Last year I spent ages in this delightful seat (after I’d learned how to get in and out gracefully and safely.) This year we waited until an English couple had finished their selfies and gone on further round the gardens before we settled. Just magnificent.

The view is wonderful and good for the soul. Glorious colours, buildings, stunning flowers, shimmering blue water and perfect skies.

Yes. Varenna. We were in the Giardino Botanico, part of a very grand hotel (Villa deli Cipressi) with a perfect position on the Lake. 

My friend says that Aldi have chairs like these.  …..but it’s really not the same.
