Musical evening

Braved the pouring rain to listen to the U3A choir in their 'Spring Concert'. It was held in a local United Reform Church in the town where I once lived. The organ looked very modern compared with the one in the Parish Chuch. Very enjoyable concert and tea and cakes as well. All in aid of the local Food Bank which is called upon more than ever in the current economic situation.
The guest soloist was somebody I knew in my Junior school. I chatted to him and we could both remember all the names of the children in our small class!.
