First cut.....

.....of theyear for my weeping pear. It has to be kept in check as it can grow to 22ft which would be a bit too much for my small patch. It was a present when I retired so you can tell how ancient I am!
Used the new mower and a screw kept falling off. Took it back to B and Q and a lovely lad called Darren said it just needed to be 'clicked' into position (an instruction left out in the diagrams) He had obviously come across this problem before. I can feel an e-mail coming on to the manufacturer!
Was at the shop this morning so only had the afternoon to garden. If the sun keeps shining I will tackle the front hedge tomorrow.
