Union Canal

We had a glorious walk along the Union Canal starting at Linlithgow and finishing just beyond Ratho, 16 miles or so once we reached the intercity bus stop near the station. I think we could have pushed on into Edinburgh had we felt so inclined. A stand out canal walk, helped by the sunshine and the chat. Carpets of wild garlic interspersed with primroses and celandines.
