Shadowy Connection

I’m a day early, I realise.  In an already tenuous link to Thursday’s  motion abstract theme, I convinced myself that shadows on the kitchen wall could resemble an installation, seen only intermittently,  constantly changing.

The solid block lower right is the sandstone lintel of an alcove that we discovered during a renovation. I think might be an old oven as there’s a void above it that could link to the other chimney.

After some hoovering, mowing and sweeping (there’s nothing like someone coming round to spur me into action),  the  Monday girls brought afternoon  tea, cake and bubbly. A delightful, and long overdue catch-up.
