Derelict Fireplace

We met up with our daughter at Nostell Priory, near Wakefield, this morning and after coffee we went for a walk around the grounds.

In a bit of a nod to yesterday’s boiler blip, today I shot the remains of the fireplace in one of the old gatehouse lodge’s kitchen. It does look as there there has been some attempts at repairs as the brickwork on the right looks different.

There were loads and loads of bluebells out .. I have added an extra of one patch with them shining in the sunlight.
