A Munich Church
Well we've made it to Munich. Everything went reasonably smoothly, apart from the flight being 20 minutes late, but that wasn't a major problem. We got our passports stamped again and this time we had to show proof of where we were staying and state our return flight.
This is St. Stephan's Church at the end of daughter#2's road. Not the church they are getting married in later in the year. We are seeing that on Sunday.
We're staying in the Holiday Inn which is convenient for her apartment. We had issues with the service last time we stayed here and this time the welcome was not at all professional. But the room is good, and we are here.
Heathrow was relatively quiet as you can see from the extra. I was impressed they have a café just for me. I am a pessimistic perfectionist, or at least I was last time I did a psychometric test.
We just had dinner in the local Italian restaurant. The Bavarian one was fully booked, but no problem as the Italian did a very good schnitzel. Delicious. Limoncellos on the house at the end. I think mrsfb has found a new favourite tipple.
