Steatoda grossa

I decided after all to buy a new cordless mower and it arrived today. I also decided to rearrange the garage so there would be a shelf unit next to the only socket to make a neater charging station, useful for the strimmer too.

In moving boxes and shelves I discovered this little creature. I'm pretty sure it's a false widow spider. That's one of its names anyway. I had a sharper pic of its body but I liked this one as you can see its beady eyes.

I feel pretty achy after all the lifting and moving. We have loads of stuff to clear out. Nothing went today though, apart from the spider that is.
