Another fabulous day. The weather is warm and sunny. The humidity is low. We had a work picnic that everyone was delighted about. We are all so starved for in-person human contact! 

A Ukrainian photographer won the World Press Photo of the year. 

The Ukrainian girls' mathematics team won the top European team in the 2023 European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad. They won one gold medal and 3 silver and thus were the most successful team in the competition. 
The Israeli military is planning to test its civilian early warning system in Kyiv next month. It will connect the military radar and air defense network and thus send faster and more specific alerts to Ukrainian civilians.
