A Walk

... not all in the woods.

Anemone nermorosa, the Windflower, has come into flower in woodlands round here in the last couple of weeks.  True to it's common name these two flowers were dancing (cheek to cheek) in the breeze.

Our little afternoon walk took a turn, an adventurous turn.  We explored a side turn, a different route home, a very scenic route .... much longer!   Some fantastic views as we climbed higher and it was a perfect day for a walk.  The 'detour' did make me a bit late for cooking tea for Chris who then stayed on to look after the dogs while I was at Pottery this evening.  Extra pic of tonight's slightly different creations.
