Red Yucca

(Hesperaloe parviflora)

A member of the Agave family, each of these buds bloom in the morning and by mid-afternoon they have wilted. Tomorrow the same process will repeat itself. Each flower is only about an inch long, custom made for little hummingbird beaks.
