Curve-Billed Thrasher

(Toxostoma bendirei)

This is a rather large bird, 10 inches or more, beak to tail. This particular male frequents my yard daily, we have some very interesting conversations. Not kidding, their song/call is rather easy to imitate, I have a lot of fun luring him into my yard with my mimicry.
