Gassing with Gus

After hearing all about my neighbour’s daughter’s wedding, Mr P and I headed down to our allotment this morning to tidy it up and start planting. Our gardening guru (aka thechimp) also popped down to help and he and Gus (our allotment neighbour) gave us useful advice. We didn’t plant out too much as it’s due to be cold again next week.
Home for lunch and then we’d planned to go for a last Hydro swim before our departure (tomorrow lunchtime) but ended up booking hostels instead. Turns out there are very few public hostels on our Camino Coastal Route so we had to book the more costly options but on the plus side we’re sharing with fewer people (10 rather than 60) and we even managed to find some private accommodation. Things are definitely looking up! Carole’s for wine before our evening meal, then Mr P and I watched Masterchef and the final episode of Pilgrimage.
