Red Onions

Day 3 of my self-imposed Red challenge. Another crop from the farm shop this morning - these lovely red onions will be used in cheese and onion sandwiches for lunch - a nice salad for tea and maybe turned into a delicious onion gravy to go with tomorrow's lunch. I loved the way the light was reflected off their shiny red skins and the reflection they made on the surface. I had a debate with the woman at the till about whether white or red onions are the tastiest - which do you prefer?
