That’s My Girl
Mrs S had a day off work so she headed out to meet friends for a morning coffee and catch up. I pottered in the back garden, tidying, potting some seeds and clearing up.
In the evening Sam and I went to watch a Falmouth Presidents XV take on a Cornwall RFU Presidents XV, a thoroughly entertaining evening with Falmouth playing well and winning comfortably.
Sam disappeared off for most of the evening and when meeting up later she announced that she was signing up for the ladies team, the “Falmouth Whitetails”. I’m super pleased, Sam has always shown an interest in rugby, I remember her being disappointed to find that there was no ladies team during her time at East London University.
There is no downside, a new circle of friends, getting fitted and participating in an outdoor team sport, what’s not to like.
Mrs S, Josh and I will giver her all the support we can, without being ‘pushy’, to make a start on playing.
Todays photo, a trumpet like flower hanging in Foxes Gardens, a bright splash of colour on a sunny day.
