Small white on a lion's tooth
There were a surprising number of subjects to photograph when we did a walk across the Green to the Churchill statue and back after lunch. However, I decided that this Small White on a dandelion flower was probably my favourite.
I ‘ve never really studied a dandelion closely, so I was interested to see that my telephoto lens has clearly shown the curly bits in the centre, which are apparently called florets. (They show up better in large.) The butterfly seems to be enjoying their nectar.
