Cuddle Time

Today was mainly spent desperately trying to come up with the definitive wedding card for Smithers and me to give the happy couple. After several hours I was nearly there, but then we had an after-school visit from our daughter-in-law and our two little granddaughters, so production was halted for today and will be resumed tomorrow.

The littlies spent most of the time exploring Granny and Grandpa’s house on their own while Mummy had a bit of a break, and they found all kinds of treasures that caught their eye. This little Jellycat duck and bunny used to sit in the cot in which they had a nap here when they were babies (which they were amused to discover was The Traveller’s cot when he was a baby too). The toys are so soft and cuddly, and the girls were desperate to take them back home with them, but Granny said they needed to stay at her house. 

However, they did wave the girls goodbye through the window, with a bit of help from Granny, at home time.
