100 Up

Tess and I completed our 100th Park Run (all at our local one in Street) this morning, with both Chris and Kate joining us for the occasion. As we said, we’d never have imagined that we’d be participating in running events with our grown up children at our age but we’re very grateful that we’re fit and healthy enough to be able to still do it.

This afternoon, Chris and I were at Huish Park to witness the final game of what has been a dismal season for Yeovil. Our relegation to the National League South was confirmed when we lost to League leaders Wrexham on Tuesday night but we were hoping we might finish with a decent performance today, sadly, it wasn’t to be and we lost 3 0 again.

So, next season, we will be back at the same level we were nearly 30 years ago when we first started following Yeovil together. Hopefully, we can go on a similar upward journey again though, unless the proposed change of ownership goes through, the whole survival of the club could be in danger.
