Glastonbury Abbey

We went over to Glastonbury this morning for a wander round the Medieval Fayre being held in the Abbey grounds.

The main blip shows the ruins of the Abbey, a victim of Henry VIII’s Dissolution. In extras there’s one of the stall holders who was in full costume, demonstrating the art of wood carving and turning as it was practised in Medieval times, and a bit of action from the display of jousting.

We were back in time to “enjoy” the Government’s Emergency Alarm test and the Manchester Utd v Brighton FA Cup Semi-Final.
