Ullswater

We've been travelling today. I was pleased that we didn't have as much rain as the forecast suggested we might get. In fact it hardly rained until the time I decided to get off the motorway for a blip. I drove to Pooley Bridge and took a walk along the east side to stretch my legs. The rain had passed thankfully but it was pretty dull. I took a few shots but the one I liked best was of these two boats with the mountains looking good on the far side.

We're staying in Carlisle tonight and will carry on to Edinburgh tomorrow.
