Ashcombe

Ashcombe is an interesting place (funny how people always say that before they proceed to bore you to death). It takes a while to drive the lane through it, a distance of a mile end to end. It has a population of only 77 at the last census.

In my photo I'm looking down on St Nectans church, which dates from the 13th century.
