Timber!

I have walked past this dead trunk many times but never really noticed how close to toppling it is - i am not going up there in a high wind.  There seems to be lots of holes up it so presumably woodpeckers are drilling it and creatures living in it.   

Pilates, pedicure and food shopping before getting stuck into an afternoon in the garden, potting up cosmos and sweet peas to try and revive them all before planting out when the new month starts. 

Cooked a Diana Henry tray roast chicken with cauliflower and cheese   Quiet day, my first for a while and much needed.
