Tulip

J's brother and his wife brought me some tulips when they came to lunch over the Easter weekend.  They have bloomed, and then faded beautifully in a vase on the mantelpiece.  Before clearing them away today, I took some time to photograph them.

This is a focus stack, then processed in silver efex.
