Tie-dye Sky
That's how it looked to me.
As it's St George's Day, we walked up the road to see if there was a flag flying on St Nicholas's Church tower. (See Extra.) There wasn't. But, as with so many, in small villages, the church doesn't have a vicar, either.
I carefully avoided looking at the brightness in the evening sky until it had mostly died away as (touch wood!) I have gone all day without a migraine. Joy!
Visitors left this afternoon and are safely home again. I've spent much of the afternoon asleep. Although I think I am a little better today, cold symptoms continue and, incredibly, it still hurts to swallow. Daughter tells me that was one of the last symptoms to disappear for her. I've never known a virus like it!
