Wobbly, windy bridge

The AirPods are found. Megan is waiting for me in Swindon. We take the train to Bristol. We stroll out of the station, across the bridge and make our way back to the conference hotel. I reclaim my lost property and we wander through Castle park to the harbour.

On the way back up the river, we stop for brunch at an outside table. It has been warm, but is getting noticeably greyer and colder. As we walk back to the station, it begins to rain.

The train back to Swindon is packed. Standing room only, but we have seats at a table :)

We go visit my mum. I’ll be busting her out tomorrow, but today she needs company. Megan business herself with a jigsaw puzzle. Until the orderly brings supper and we excuse ourselves.

In Swindon we head to Hakka 2, a smart Chinese/Malayan restaurant in the pedestrian precinct. The salt and chilli tofu was really good and the crispy sea weed was lovely to (even if it actually was spring greens). For mains we had mixed veg in black bean sauce and Singapore fried rice with pineapple. Yum.

I leave Megan at her flat and head back to Bedwyn.
