First stop, Marlborough to do some shopping. Then I boost mum out of the care home and take her home. She demonstrates expert zimmer frame manipulation getting into the house. Later, I test her on shower entry/exit and access to her bathroom.

Care assessment early afternoon, with a live in carer able to start on Wednesday. Mum’s not keen at first, but a chance visit from Moira helps convince her that it’s a good idea, at least for a couple of weeks.
